a neutrino has zero mass, zero charge and is practically impossible to detect - most unlike you, my friend!

"neutrino has zero mass"

I don't think that's true. From the little I understood working at a particle accelerator, they have *almost* no mass.

But I could be wrong, after all I think light must have mass too if it has particles and get really confused about where the energy of virtual particles go.

You're right. Neutrino mass was experimentally undetectable for 50 years and was assumed to be if not zero then pretty damn close to it. As I understand it the mass of a neutrino is reckoned to be a millionth or less than that of an electron, but don't quote me!

Photons are also effectively massless - if they weren't relativity would forbid them travelling at lightspeed would it not? But they do have momentum and so can exert radiation pressure - otherwise solar sails wouldn't work.

So let me see if I have this right, Rob...

What you are basically saying is that last night, in a parallel universe, a band called the Warlocks, including a guy named Pigpen on organ and a 68 year old guitarist named Jerry Garcia (Bob Weir having died in a tragic motorcycle accident in Atanta years earlier), performed at San Francisco's Warfield Theatre, and jammed out a 2010 version of Viola Lee's Blues?

Nearly right, Cliff. Except it was Hard to Handle and the crowd went nuts on the Next Time You See Me encore when Pigpen had to help Garcia back up when he went down on one knee for the solo.
